Cuisine American
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 package good quality white chocolate chips or a block block, chopped I use Guittard or Ghirardelli
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- chopped strawberries, bluberries, blackberries, raspberries fresh or frozen, enough for about 1 cup per person
Put the white chocolate chips/chunks into a microwave safe bowl.
Heat the cream in the microwave in 30 second increments, until hot but not boiling. Depending on the microwave, will be around 2 minutes total.
Pour the hot cream on top of the white chocolate and add the vanilla extract. Let sit for a few seconds to allow the cream to melt the chocolate. Stir until smooth. May need to place the bowl in the microwave in 30 second increments to make sure chocolate is melted. Stir well.
Put about a cup of fruit in individual serving bowls and ladle the warm white chocolate sauce on top. Can serve with a dollop of fresh whipped cream and cookies or donuts on the side, if desired. Enjoy!
