Milk Chocolate Chip Blondies

Milk Chocolate Chip Blondies

These Milk Chocolate Chip Blondies are soft, yummy, golden bars that are so easy to whip up in just a few minutes! Whenever I take food to a loved one I enjoy sending a sweet treat for them to enjoy that will last a few days. These blondies are a favorite. Great to take a batch to a friend or to send last minute to a church/school bake sale. Also delicious served hot right out of the oven next to a big scoop of ice cream!

No mixer needed and very little prep is involved to prepare these wonderful blondies. I always have the simple ingredients needed on hand in my pantry. Additionally, I bake them in a foil 8×8 Reynolds Release pan. Not only to minimize clean up but also because they easily slip right out of that non stick pan.

If you do not have milk chocolate chips on hand, no worries. You can use regular semi sweet chips or even chocolate chunks. My favorite chips to use in this recipe are the Guittard Milk Chocolate Baking Chips. These chips are quite a bit larger than standard chocolate chips. The size is kind of in between a chip and a chunk. So good!

All in all, these super delicious, super easy Milk Chocolate Chip Blondies are perfect on those occasions when friends or family may be dropping by. They are also great to take to loved ones, or even when you just want a homemade treat that you can whip up in a hurry!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips I use Guittard Milk Chocolate Baking Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir with a fork and set aside.
  • Place the brown sugar in the bottom of another large bowl and fluff gently with a fork, breaking up any lumps. Add the beaten eggs and stir with the fork until smooth with no brown sugar lumps. Add the melted butter and the vanilla. Stir well.
  • Now add the flour mixture to the brown sugar mixture. Mix together well with a spatula. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Spred into a greased 8×8 baking pan; or use the Reynolds Release 8X8 square non stick foil pan. Bake at 350° for about 25-30 minutes. They should be golden brown on top. Every oven is different, so check for doneness after 25 minutes by inserting a toothpick close to the center of the pan. When it comes out clean they are done.
  • Cool in pan for about 15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into bars and serve. Enjoy!
